Summer Breeze: Part II

After cruising to Mexico with my mother…

I went to Columbia, SC with my Pop Pop and Grandmomma for a month. While I was there, I was able to see my Uncle Travis and my cousin Tyler. I even made a new friend, Sparkle. Sparkle lives next door to my Uncle Travis. Sparkle and I played outside a lot. She came over to hang out every day.

I  spent a lot of time at my Great-Auntie Sylvia and Uncle Melvin’s house and was able to hang out with my cousin Lanesa. I was able to see Auntie Sylvia’s dog Cocoa and her brand new puppies. Cocoa is a German Shepherd. The puppies’ Daddy is an American German Shepherd. Cocoa is a brown and black, and she is huge! I met the puppies the day they were born, and I was able to watch the puppies learn how to walk. We helped prop them up on their feet so they could walk. The puppies love to nibble on your toes. While I was there, I went to laser tag with Auntie Sylvia and Lanesa. I won some candy and toys. Also, my cousin Lanesa and I played in make-up together. I really enjoyed that.Uncle Melvin is a Cardiologist, and he works a lot! My Great-Grandmother also lives at Auntie Sylvia’s house. She is 94-years-young, and she loves her grandbabies.

This summer hasn’t been all fun and games

While I was at my Grandpa’s house everything wasn’t all fun in the sun. I had to do a math work-book and read to stay on top of my school game. I didn’t hate it, but I hate doing work…but when it came to line segments I was on fire! I spent some time reading “The Sasquatch Escape – The Imaginary Veterinary: Book 1”. I think it’s a crazy book. In the book, there is a dragon on the loose and some crazy animals. I am really enjoying reading it. I am going to try to finish this book over the summer.

I enjoyed spending a month this summer with my family. I don’t get to see this part of my family often because I live in Louisiana. I am looking forward to going back for Thanksgiving. One of my favorite things about being at Pop Pop’s house is their cooking!

Now I am on to my next adventure…stayed tuned for Part III! Wait to see where I am going to be next.
